I took another trip to Vail this summer for my company, and had the same reaction to the people who sanctimoniously uphold their birth right to pollute in the name of their culture. The same folks who drive their SUVs a half mile with their kids to soccer practice, and sit in the SUV with engine and air condintioning running while watching a DVD. Then I look out of my window at the Wilmington oil wells, listen to Sean Hannity bleating “drill baby drill,” and seriously consider taking up drinking again!

You are an exception, and I hope more people follow your leadership!

I strap a couple of home-made wheels onto my kayak, drag it behind me as I walk the half-a-block to Shady Oak Lake, launch it, and enjoy my exercise and the animals. It has only been on a car a few times: once to go up to the cabin (where my other kayak resides) and the other time to get home from the store…..
